Think SIMPLE! Wa-la! A new look on eating right.

Post  Admin on July 4th 2008, 6:34 pm

This article I wrote is also on the Fit4Life myspace.

I bet a bunch of you guys believe that you could never find the willpower to trade your man-made feasts for Mother Nature's small meals, hmm?

You probably think, "Aw man. That would take determination. My favorite foods come in boxes and cans."

I was in the shower,
thinking,
and now! ....
I have a challenge for you.

This is all a mind-set thing.

ANYTHING GOD, MOTHER NATURE, THE EARTH, HAS MADE OR SUPPLIED FOR YOU IS HEALTHY.
Those things are the best things you can fill your body with.
Some people say bananas are bad, or egg yolks.
That is very false.
I don't care about anything anybody says,
selective eating is not as complicated as they make it.

What's complicated is this: chemicals they use to grow your fruits and vegetables.
Think ORGANICS.
The most beneficial place to go grocery shopping for your overall health is TRADER JOE'S.
Most things, if not everything, is organic and fresh and nutritional.

What's complicated is THOSE FANCY DINNERS YOU SPEND HOURS PREPARING!
Why not ORGANIC and SIMPLE and FRESH and NUTRITIONAL and SMALL yet SATISFYING and EASY TO MAKE and EASY TO DIGEST and DOESN'T DEMAND HOURS SPENT ON THE TREADMILL BURNING OFF foods that will make you feel good?

What's really complicated is the fight against low self-esteem that unhealthy foods love to throw at you, never letting you win.

You're body is your treasure.
It's how you present yourself.
It's something nobody can take from you, only YOU have control over it.
It's with you forever.

Society today has shoved down everybody's throats heart attacks waiting to happen.

IT'S NOT COMPLICATED to read the nutrition labels on the back of food products.
Just look at the servings, the size of the servings, the calories of the servings, how much protein, carbs, sugars, fats, and salts per serving, and in the ingredients look to see what is listed first, because it's in order from what ingredient they used the most to make the product to the least.
High Fructose Corn Syrup is awful. Salt is awful, if it's one of the first items. Transfats are the absolute worst.

Protein = is what fills you up. Meat & Eggs...
Carbs is what supplies you with energy. Pretty much found in anything. Don't think carbs are bad.
Fats can also be healthy. It's a myth that eating fat will make you fat.

Our bodies love food. Why? Because food is not the enemy. Food can only be the enemy when you FORCE it to be. Because you are the one who controls the overhaul and late night cravings you can't resist.

So, I want you guys to just remember, organic is best.
Organic is simple.
Organic is healthy.
Fruits, Vegetables, Eggs, Meat.. all your body needs.
Very little cooking.
All the satisfaction your body needs.

Show your body that you love it.

[Note: Approx. 10-20g of protein will tie you over for maybe 4 hours. Once you're hungry, rev up your metabolism again (aka EAT!). You might think that the 6 slices of roast beef you had that withheld 10g of protein couldn't possibly be enough, but you need to wait 20 minutes. I guarantee, 20 minutes after you grub, your body will not feel hungry any longer because it picked up on the food you just ate.]

It's all mind-set.
And it's all so simple.
